Welcome to Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT). Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT) is one of the leading UGC and government approved universities of Bangladesh. It is committed to provide outstanding quality education and training relevant to the needs of modern society. It was established by Dhaka Commerce College in 2003.



	Location
Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) has a superb location in a very calm and quiet area in Mirpur, Dhaka, adjacent to Dhaka Commerce College, the National Zoo and the Botanical Garden. Here prevails an excellent academic environment. The administrative and academic activities of BUBT are carried out in a newly constructed south facing eleven storeyed spacious building having all modern amenities for teaching and learning. The building will ultimately be raised to 20 levels having more than 150,000 squire feet space under the same roof.

The University has been established to provide education with unique quality relevant to the needs of the modern society. With this end in view the courses and curricula of BUBT are so designed as to enable the students to pursue higher education and professional goals with a sound academic background. This will help the students to equip themselves as creative leaders to contribute to the socio-economic development of Bangladesh.

	Objectives
The principal objective of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) is to produce highly skilled manpower who will contribute to the national development as entrepreneurs, academics, professionals, administrators and researchers. The following objectives are within the focus of overall activities of BUBT: To maintain an excellent academic environment for imparting higher education in different fields. To encourage learners to incultcate ethical, cultural and social values in their thoughts, actions and practices and follow them in their personal and national life. To build up a center of excellence for higher education & research which will serve as the dynamic institution for generating knowledge for creation of an ideal society. To develop learners understanding of advances in knowledge and complexities of modern world and utilize it for solutions of contemporary problems.

	Academic Standards
The curricula of all programs offered by BUBT have been modeled after similar academic programs of reputed North American and European Universities to facilitate transfer of credits earned at BUBT to universities abroad.
